The Terry Reilly Medical & Mental Health – Boise Building Receives Design Award
The building remodeling project was nominated and won a 2012 City of Boise Building Excellence Award in the "Best Accessible Project" category. The City of Boise, Planning and Development Services Department presented the award to Terry Reilly at the Building Owners and Managers Association luncheon on May 16. The remodeling added outside ramps as well as an elevator to the ground floor, making medical and mental health services accessible to persons with disabilities.
The award ceremony gave us the chance to talk about Terry Reilly’s mission, as well as the work done on a daily basis here. Thanks to all those who made this new building possible: architects, builders, and funders, as well as our staff that helped us make the transition from the “old Boise Clinic” to this new site. We are proud that in remodeling an old warehouse to a thriving community clinic we are part of the new life blossoming up in the Linen District and adjacent downtown areas.
