One of the best things you can do to protect a child from sexual abuse, is to become educated and then to remain vigilant. The SANE SOLUTIONS Program staff is available for educational presentations and workshops.
The SANE SOLUTIONS Program is committed to providing services to individuals and families who have been the victims of child sexual abuse. While services are designed to meet the individual needs of each person or family who come to us for care, we have an underlying goal of relieving the feelings of guilt, shame or responsibility for the abuse, diminishing the level of trauma sustained, and restoring a healthy life with effective coping mechanisms.
To that end, the SANE SOLUTIONS Program provides:
- Individual Counseling
- Family Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Marriage Counseling
- Personal Safety Education
Many do not realize that between a third and a half of all sexual crimes are committed by minors. Consequently, we believe it is imperative that quality treatment services are available to effectively treat youth and help them be safe members of our community. As a result, the SANE SOLUTIONS Program provides:
- Comprehensive Juvenile Sex Offender Risk Assessments
- Intensive out-patient, gender specific, group treatment
- Physiological assessments (polygraphs) where appropriate
- Aftercare Treatment
Within the SANE SOLUTIONS Program, we believe it is critical that quality, specialized sex offender treatment be available within the community to meet the needs of those who commit a sexual offense. Without such treatment, the system is simply one of catch and incarcerate, without the critical element of rehabilitate, where possible.
As a result, the SANE SOLUTIONS Program provides:
- Psychosexual Assessments
- ntensive out-patient, gender specific, group treatment
- Physiological assessments (polygraphs) where appropriate
- Aftercare Treatment
SANE SOLUTIONS Program works very closely with the Idaho Department of Corrections to monitor and manage the sex offenders who participate in the treatment program.
The SANE SOLUTIONS Program operates the Family Violence Prevention Program. This program is designed to provide specialized treatment for individuals who commit domestic violence. The Family Violence Prevention Program meets the treatment standards specified by the Idaho Council on Domestic Violence and Victim Assistance.
