Originally from Boise, Jake studied human movement science at Utah State University and spent time shadowing different providers to figure out the right path. That journey led him to oral surgery and eventually to earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.

Jake spent two years in Argentina doing missionary work, where he became fluent in Spanish and grew to understand the importance of access to dental care. His experience inspired his interest in community health. Jake's approach to his care is judgment-free, patient-focused, and values the chance to understand each patient as a whole person—not just their symptoms. He’d like to make each patient feel respected, prioritized, and that their time was genuinely valued.
