About Me Family, friends, and the great outdoors are my priorities outside of medicine. My husband (Marcus), pup (Norman) and I love running, camping, rafting, skiing, and enjoying the natural beauty our public lands, Idaho, and all the world has to offer. I love being a lifelong learner and explorer.
Clinical Interests I chose family medicine for the opportunity it brings to accompany entire families in health as well as in sickness. There is a sacred and incredible trust that is built into a relationship in primary care, and it is a great privilege to be a family doctor. It is really my hope that I will learn how best to empower patients to reach their health goals through the time I spend with them and their families.
My clinical interests are in reproductive health care across the life spectrum from preconception counseling to contraception (including vasectomy), pregnancy care and the postpartum period.
I have additional clinical interests in medical quality, evidence-informed care and shared decision making, pediatrics, medication-assisted therapy (buprenorphine), hepatitis C management and treatment, transgender medicine, office procedures, hospital-based care, and adult medicine including complex chronic conditions.
