Meet Your Provider

Hunter is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, and began his healthcare career here in Idaho as a psychiatric technician at Allumbaugh House, where he worked for five years.

Before returning to Terry Reilly, Hunter was Assistant Director of Nursing at Lifeways Psychiatric Hospital in Boise. His clinical interests include treating substance use disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and suicidal ideation. He takes a holistic approach to care and always considers medical or biological factors, since many times the symptoms can overlap across physical and mental health conditions.

He’s excited to be back at TRHS and looks forward to developing as a professional alongside compassionate, competent, and experienced providers. He says it’s the collaborative team-based model and the mission-focused care that attracted him back. He shares, “I hope my patients feel that I listen and treat them as if they were a member of my own family.”
