Virginia has worked as a respiratory care nurse for years before transitioning to Allumbaugh House. A detox and mental health inpatient care center operated by Terry Reilly. Her passion is to help care for the veteran population and patients experiencing substance abuse disorders. During her time at Allumbaugh House, she felt a strong urge to further pursue her education to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse. She shares, "Most of my background is critical care, but because of my own experience with mental health, I was inspired to make the change."

Additionally, she has proudly served the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. When she is not at the clinic, Virginia enjoys the outdoor lifestyle that includes snowboarding in the winter and tending to her garden in the summer.
